KNH-Nurses Welfare (KNH-NURWEL) is a self-help group whose key objectives is be to foster unity, understanding and encourage assistance among its members.
Our other objectives include; To promote the social welfare assistance to our members, to enhance unity among members, to organize and carry out recreations and social activities, to mobilize savings from the members i.e. monthly contribution through an agreed strategy (Check off system), to engage in investment activities for its members Keep off tribal grouping and destructive politics and remains non-political entity.
Membership is open to an individual nurse developing an interest, reading and comprehending the constitution and appending a signature to the available registration forms. In the event of agreeing to be a member, one is supposed to respect the constitution and abide by or the contents therein.
🔹Any nurse employed by Kenyatta National Hospital and is a member of the National Nurses Association of Kenya (NNAK) KNH branch or is willing to be a member of NNAK-KNH is eligible to membership on a voluntary basis. Members should be willing to pay Kshs.20,000 for the welfare project.
🔹Every member shall pay a monthly contribution of Kshs.350 or such higher amount that is agreed with the member through check-off system or any other means agreeable by members.
🔹All members are equal in contribution and benefit regardless of their positions.
